Safari Game Drive and Rhino Walk

I will pick you up from your Hotel or Lodge at 07:30 for the Morning Game Drive and 15:00 for the afternoon Game. The Game drive safari last for about 3 hours in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. With my help you can hope to spot some of Africa’s finest wildlife, including the endangered white rhino, as well as elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and many more. Mosi-oa-Tunya means “The Smoke That Thunders“. The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The National Park covers a relatively small area of 66 km2 from the Songwe Gorge below the Victoria Falls and stretches upstream along the Zambian River bank for about 20 km. Within the National Park is an old cemetery where the first European settlers were buried. They made camp close to the river, but kept succumbing to a strange and fatal illness. They originally blamed the yellow/green-barked “fever trees” for this incurable malady. Only later did they discover it was the malarial mosquito causing their demise. Before long the community moved to higher ground and the town of Livingstone emerged. After a successful Game drive, I will drive you back to your accommodation in Livingstone.
