Asheton Maryam Monastery Church Hiking

No matter how fast or slower hikers you would be because the hike would be done with your own pace. The Trekking starts from your reserved hotel in Lalibela and after a 15 minutes walk, you will find yourself leaving the town, walking with the local community, breathing the fresh air, wondering the landscape, Flora and Fauna of Mt. Asheton.   The church was King Lalibela's first project and has many treasures to be discovered. The hike from Lalibela to Asheton Maryam is very rewarding (If you needed one) to explore the stunning mountain scenery surrounding Lalibela. It is one of my favourite Eco friendly Trekking routes over the Ethiopian highlands which I invite everyone to join me, It would took us about 3 - 4 hours one way, walking at a reasonable pace and it is a great opportunity to discover the routine life of the Local community as we will pass through Asheton village. This hike is unique because of the panoramic views of the the region you would definitely enjoy and my professional guiding that would allow you to have the true picture of the countryside of Ethiopia.
